Online Arbitration

ZipCourt, Inc. launched its online courtroom service today to address the growing need for fast, efficient dispute resolution. It is basically arbitration online and deals mostly with commercial cases and some civil matters. Not for cases like employment discrimination or family issues – the hotbeds of dispute. I never liked arbitration – it does not give the participants a chance to work it out. It is still an imposed solution and if you go that far may as well try the damn thing. People are still positionally locked. It does nothing to move us forward in our communication skills – simply a new tech device to me.
